Debuting in 2001 as the lead actress in Fuji TV drama Kizudarake no Love Song, Mika Nakashima quickly rose to fame with her cool aura and unique voice.
She went on to release numerous hit songs such as Yuki no Hana, Sakurairo Maukoro, Will, and GLAMOROUS SKY, becoming one of the most iconic Japanese divas of the 2000s.
Nakashima has appeared on NHK’s Kōhaku Uta Gassen nine times, won numerous music awards, and established herself as an irreplaceable presence across music, film, TV, and fashion.
Her starring role in the 2005 film NANA became a cultural phenomenon across Asia, with the theme song GLAMOROUS SKY topping charts and becoming a cross-generational anthem.
